Group leader named Canada Research Chair

I'm happy to announce that I've been named as one of the 2015 class of the Canada Research Chairs program.

From the CRC website:

The Canada Research Chairs Program invests approximately $265 million per year to attract and retain some of the world’s most accomplished and promising minds. Chairholders aim to achieve research excellence in engineering and the natural sciences, health sciences, humanities, and social sciences.

In addition to the CRC Chair, I was also awarded $500,000 in funding from Canada Foundation for Innovation, which will help equip my lab with state of the art instrumentation to support our research.
